Presales Engineer

1. Prepare comprehensive technical proposals in response to assigned RFQs as per scope defined by manager
2. Represent the company in customer interactions as a subject-matter expert and provide valuable technical insights/recommendations on telecommunication and security systems
3. This role is a customer facing role which involves understanding the customers functional requirements, analysing their existing infrastructure, understanding the issues faced by them and proposing the right solution based on a range of existing and new products

Minimum Experience of 3-7 years.

Technical Skills

The candidate shall have a sound foundation in engineering and scientific concepts and well versed with numerical calculations using spreadsheets. The candidate shall be competent in designing and architecting multi-system solutions for power, energy, smart city and mission-critical sectors in the various systems including but not limited to:

1. Optical fiber based transmission systems such as DWDM, Packet Optical Transport, SDH and OTN
2. Ethernet and IP network architecture, products (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), protocols and security
3. Telephony and video-conferencing solutions
4. Security and surveillance equipment such as CCTV, Access Control Systems, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, PSIM solutions
5. Radio Systems such as Tetra Networks, PtP and PtMP, UHF, VHF and Microwave
6. PAGA and Siren Systems
7. Racking and Structured Cable Systems
8. Knowledge of more than 2 systems is desirable.
