Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad for Preprimary Coordinator, HRTs & Assistant Teachers, Grade 1 & 2 Mother Teachers, Telugu, Art & Craft , Wellness Educator, and Special Educator roles. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging educational activities, supporting student development, and fostering a positive learning environment. Educators will also focus on curriculum delivery, classroom management, and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to meet educational goals.


Wellness Counsellor Roles & Responsibilities:

1)Academic Support

Identifies slow learners through observation, assessments, and teacher feedback.


2)Conducts diagnostic tests to understand learning gaps.

Plans individualized learning strategies

Provides remedial classes in core subjects.

Simplifies concepts using activity-based and experiential methods.

Uses differentiated instruction techniques.


3) Student Wellness & Emotional Support

Monitors students emotional and behavioral well-being.

Builds confidence and reduces academic anxiety.

Provides motivation and positive reinforcement.

Conducts one-on-one counseling sessions when required.


4)Monitoring & Documentation

Maintains progress records of remedial students.

Tracks improvement through periodic assessments.

Shares progress reports with class teachers and coordinators.

Keeps documentation aligned with school policies.


5) Collaboration with Teachers

Works closely with subject teachers to modify lesson plans.

Suggests classroom accommodations and strategies.

Guides teachers on inclusive practices.

Attends academic review meetings.


6) Parent Communication

Conducts meetings with parents to discuss student progress.

Guides parents on home support strategies.

Suggests structured study routines at home.


7)Skill Development

Develops study skills and time management habits.

Conducts workshops on learning strategies.

Focuses on foundational literacy and numeracy.

Encourages peer learning and group activities.


8)Administrative & Planning Role

Prepares remedial timetable.

Submits monthly progress reports to the academic head.

Plans bridge courses during vacation if required.

Supports during assessments and exam preparation.


Special Educator Roles & Responsibilities


Assessment and Diagnosis: Identifying student needs early by observing performance, behavior, and administering evaluations.

Individualized Instruction: Developing and implementing IEPs to address specific, personalized goals.

Curriculum Modification: Adapting general education lessons to make them accessible, using multisensory techniques, and providing tools like graphic organizers or assistive technology.

Behavioral Support: Teaching social skills, fostering emotional well-being, and implementing positive behavior interventions.

Collaboration: Acting as a bridge between parents, general education teachers, and specialists to ensure consistent support.

Inclusive Advocacy: Promoting an inclusive school environment, ensuring learners with disabilities are included in classroom activities.

Targeted Support Areas:

Special educators address a range of challenges, including:

Learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia)

Sensory processing and physical disabilities

Behavioural and emotional disorders (ADHD, anxiety)

Intellectual and language challenges

Daily Responsibilities:

One-on-one or small group sessions: Providing specialized instruction.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly reviewing student data and updating IEPs.

Training and Consulting: Guiding classroom teachers on accommodating students with special needs.

Counseling/Support: Helping students develop self-confidence and life skills.


Qualifications

  • Strong teaching skills in areas such as curriculum planning, classroom management, and personalized learning techniques.
  • Expertise in respective domains including Preprimary education, Telugu language, Art and Craft, Wellness, and Special Education methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and staff effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in integrating technology within the learning environment for enhanced educational outcomes.
  • Teaching qualifications such as a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education or a relevant field, and prior teaching experience is highly preferred.
