Precast Bim Modeler

Job Summary:

The Senior BIM Modeler will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality Revit models and detailed drawings for precast. The role requires advanced technical expertise in BIM workflows, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to lead and mentor junior modelers to ensure accurate, efficient, and coordinated project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models for precast and structural elements using Autodesk Revit.

- Lead and coordinate with BIM Leads, Structural Engineers, Architects, and MEP teams to ensure full design integration.

- Review and validate Revit models and shop drawings prepared by junior modellers and detailers.

- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and QA/QC requirements.

- Manage model revisions, updates, and version control throughout all project stages.

- Generate shop drawings, layouts, and schedules directly from the BIM model.

- Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Revit and Navisworks.

- Provide technical support and training to junior BIM team members.

- Collaborate with the production, design, and site teams to address constructability and coordination issues.

- Support the implementation of BIM automation tools and model optimization workflows and Impact Precast for shop drawing automation.

Skills & Competencies:

- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure (mandatory).

- Strong understanding of precast detailing, structural systems, and construction methodologies.

- Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

- Sound knowledge of BIM standards, LOD definitions, and coordination practices.
