Pre-Sales Executive


About Plattr


Plattr is a modern bulk food and catering solutions platform built to serve corporates, offices, house parties, and events.

We simplify large food orders through curated menus, strong operations, fast turnarounds, and a seamless pre-sales experience.


As we scale rapidly, we are building a high-performance pre-sales team to manage inbound demand and convert customer conversations into confirmed orders.


Role Overview


As a Pre-Sales Executive at Plattr, you will be the first point of contact for all inbound customer enquiries.

This is a conversation-driven role focused on understanding requirements, recommending the right solutions, and closing orders efficiently.


If you can listen actively, communicate confidently, and influence decisions naturally, this role is made for you.


Key Responsibilities


1. Inbound Lead Management


Handle incoming enquiries from:

WhatsApp

Website & mobile app

Marketing campaigns (Meta / Google)

Referrals & repeat customers

Ensure quick, clear, and professional responses at all times.


2. Requirement Discovery


Understand customer needs clearly, including:

Type of event or order

Number of people

Budget and timelines

Food preferences and constraints

Act as a consultative advisor, not a pushy salesperson.


3. Pitching & Conversion


Communicate Plattrs value proposition clearly

Recommend the most suitable menu or service

Address objections related to pricing, quantities, and delivery

Close orders and guide customers on the next steps


4. Follow-ups & Coordination


Perform structured follow-ups to convert open leads

Coordinate with internal operations teams for feasibility

Ensure a smooth handover once the order is confirmed


5. CRM & Reporting


Update lead details and conversation notes in CRM

Track leads across stages:

Enquiry Discussion Quotation Confirmation

Share insights on customer behaviour, objections, and trends


Required Skills & Traits

Must-Have

Excellent communication and persuasion skills

High comfort with phone and WhatsApp conversations

Strong listening ability and clarity of thought

Basic understanding of pricing, quantities, and margins

Self-discipline to perform well in a hybrid setup


Language Requirement (Mandatory)


Kannada Fluent

Hindi Conversational

English Professional working proficiency


Preferred


Freshers or candidates with knowledge in:

Pre-sales / Inside sales

Customer success

Hospitality, catering, or service sales

Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho, Odoo, or HubSpot is a plus


Performance Metrics (KPIs)


Lead-to-order conversion rate

Response time to inbound leads

Order value closed

CRM hygiene and follow-up quality
