PRD Engineer

Role: PRD Engineer

Location:Powertrain Test Lab, Bangalore (NS Palya)

Reporting to: Lead - PRD & Powertrain Testing

Team Name: Product Validation - Testing CoC

About the Team and the Role:

As a PRD Engineer, you will be responsible for

Responsibilities:

— Defining test strategies for Performance, Range and Driveability

— Responsible for Motor level testing in PRD

— Responsible for Motor dyno testing and correlation of results of the same

— Responsible for thermal attributes testing from the powertrain systems

— Responsible for execution of test cases with the given resources and delivering on time

— Work closely with system engineers and design engineers for the attributes testing and

ensuring accuracy of the same

— Raising bugs and highlighting the critical failures in the system/vehicle immediately

— Responsible for proper usage of equipments/Instruments and machineries

— Responsible for test standards/procedure creation suit the testing needs

— Responsible for creating quality test reports with relevant information

Experience and Qualifications:

— Bachelor’s/Master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering or any other equivalent field

with 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.

Must have Competencies:

— Strong understanding of electric vehicle Motor performance

— Proven experience of working in instrumentation, data acquisition and data processing

— Expertise in data analysis

— Excellent communication skills

— Excellent data visualization skills
