Power Platform engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Engineer with 26 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The role involves building scalable low-code solutions, automating business processes, integrating enterprise systems, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps)
• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate, including approvals, notifications, and scheduled flows
• Create dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI
• Design and manage data models using Dataverse
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party APIs
• Implement security roles, environment strategies, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies
• Develop custom connectors and integrate REST APIs where required
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Follow ALM best practices using Dev/Test/Prod environments and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• 26 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience working with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, SQL Server, and Azure SQL
• Knowledge of Power Platform security, licensing, and governance
• Hands-on experience with integrations using REST APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps is a plus)
• Understanding of SDLC, ALM, and source control tools (Azure DevOps / Git)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Pages
• Exposure to RPA using Power Automate Desktop
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for advanced customizations
• Experience in enterprise domains such as Retail, Finance, Insurance, or Healthcare
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400 preferred)
