Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of power electronic circuits and systems, ensuring high efficiency, reliability, and performance. This role requires strong technical expertise in power electronics, circuit design, and simulation, along with hands-on experience in prototyping and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems, including inverters, converters, power supplies, and motor drives.

Conduct circuit simulations and analysis using tools like PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB, or Simulink.

Select appropriate power semiconductors (MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN, SiC) and passive components for optimal performance.

Develop and optimize PCB layouts for power electronics applications, ensuring thermal and EMC compliance.

Conduct prototyping, testing, validation, and debugging of power electronic systems in the lab.

Work on thermal management solutions for high-power electronic devices.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, UL, ISO, EMI/EMC) and safety regulations.

Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers to integrate power electronics solutions into final products.

Troubleshoot and improve existing designs for better efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Document design processes, test results, and technical reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in power electronics design and development.

Strong expertise in DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC power conversion technologies.

Proficiency in circuit simulation and modelling tools such as PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB, or Simulink.

Hands-on experience with PCB design tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad.

Knowledge of power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, GaN, SiC) and passive components.

Experience with EMI/EMC compliance, thermal design, and power system reliability.

Familiarity with embedded system control for power electronics (Microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGA).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
