Role Overview

Acuitas360 is seeking a Power Appsfocused Developer (12 years of experience) to design, build, and support business applications and automations using the Microsoft Power Platform.

In this role, you will primarily develop Canvas Apps and workflows, with opportunities to expand into model-driven concepts as you grow (Power Apps supports both canvas and model-driven application types).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Power Apps Canvas Apps with clean UI design and maintainable Power Fx formulas (Canvas Apps provide a blank canvas approach where the UI is designed by placing controls).
• Create and maintain Power Automate cloud flows to streamline business processes and reduce repetitive manual tasks.
• Integrate applications and flows with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Excel/CSV, and REST APIs (as required), while implementing reliable error handling, logging, and notifications.
• Translate business requirements into application screens, data structures, validations, and role-based access controls; collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Perform functional and regression testing, resolve defects, optimize performance, support releases, document solutions, and provide end-user guidance.
• Create and maintain Dev/Test/Prod environments within Power Apps/Power Platform to ensure proper Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and release governance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Hands-on experience building production-grade Power Apps (Canvas Apps), including forms, galleries, components, variables, modern components, responsive design, scroll pages, DataCards, and delegation-aware design.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate (triggers, conditions, approvals, loops, expressions, connectors).
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Site fundamentals (lists/libraries, permissions, columns/content types, basic governance).
• Working knowledge of Dataverse and Solutions (tables, relationships, forms/views, and awareness that model-driven apps are built by composing components such as forms and views over tables).
• Intermediate understanding of relational database concepts (keys, relationships, normalization fundamentals) and comfort writing SQL queries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exposure to model-driven apps and basic understanding of solutions/ALM (environments, managed and unmanaged solutions).
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (preferred).
