Job Description
Job Summary:
Client is looking for PostgreSQL Database Engineer and this is hybrid position in Pune.
Experience:
- Build engineering solutions for migration and upgrade of PostgreSQL On-Prem, Azure Single to Flex, Azure AVS/Azure Migrate (Versions 14, 15, 17).
- Provide engineering services, collaborating with our Transformational IT Team and Application migration teams on database migrations, ensuring alignment with customer application migration and strategic plan insights.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills with deep understanding of PostgreSQL
- Develop automation using Shell scripting, Perl, and Python
- Build GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including implementation plans and SOPs hosted on Confluence
- Contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT database products and services, define workarounds for known issues, and initiate process improvements
- Work within SDLC, agile methodologies, and change management processes, adapting to evolving business requirements.
