Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience in ANSI SQL and IBM Cognos Administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Media domain. This hybrid role requires a dedicated professional who can work effectively in a day shift. No travel is required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to support business requirements.
  • Administer and manage IBM Cognos environments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SQL and Cognos-related issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting solutions.
  • Optimize and tune SQL queries for improved performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all development and administration tasks.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in all deliverables.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

  • Must have strong experience in ANSI SQL and IBM Cognos Administration.
  • Should have a solid understanding of the Media domain.
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Nice to have experience with other BI tools and technologies.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Should be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
