Portfolio Ops - Asset Management - Associate/Sr. Associate - Reference Data Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team, focusing on business/reference data operations for our client.

As an associate in business data operations, you will play a crucial role in handling the Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) for client. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing SSI services as a key payment control function, managing static data setup, and providing SSI subject matter advisory services.

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Oversee SSI services as a critical payment control function, ensuring process integrity within the SSI Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Maintain a centralized document repository, perform document and callback verifications, coordinate updates with relevant teams, and ensure secure handling of sensitive information.
• Manage and coordinate SSI document issuance in compliance with standard operating procedures and established workflows.
• Participate in SSI data maintenance initiatives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support seamless investment operations.
• Take ownership of static data setup and lifecycle management to guarantee reliability and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively address and resolve data-related challenges.
• Regularly update documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficient workflows and consistent knowledge retention.
• Conduct comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes related to SSI management, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Support process improvement by reviewing and enhancing existing workflows for greater efficiency.
• Familiarity with trade operations or payment market utilities such as DTCC Alert and SWIFT is preferred.

• Should be willing to work from 6:00 am IST to 3:00 pm IST or from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST
• Candidate should be ready to work from office on all 5 days for the entire day, with no exceptions under any circumstances.
• Experience in Aladdin and Bloomberg is preferred.

Education:

• Masters(preferred)/Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting
