About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Portfolio Head to lead credit governance and risk management for our South East region. This role involves end-to-end oversight of underwriting, portfolio quality, and risk mitigation strategies. You will mentor and coach credit teams, ensure compliance with policies, and help achieve state-level targets for portfolio, NPA, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop the portfolio management team (recruitment, training, talent development).

Oversee underwriting decisions and ensure timely processing of cases.

Drive credit appraisal as per policy and within TAT.

Provide inputs for credit policy updates and ensure compliance.

Conduct regular training for branch and cluster credit teams.

Address audit observations promptly and ensure risk mitigation across the portfolio.

What Were Looking For:

Qualification: MBA/PGDBM/CA

Experience:

• 1015 years in financial services, with at least 3 years in NBFCs handling secured business (mortgage/housing loans).
• Minimum 5 years in credit appraisal and 3 years in team management.
• Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability, and leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting skills.
• Willingness to travel 1015 days/month across India.
