Role: Domain Expert Membrane Modification & R&D (Chennai)

A leading global innovator in water treatment technologies is seeking a Domain Expert in Membrane Modification for its advanced Research Center in India. This role is ideal for a Ph.D. professional passionate about clean-water solutions and "start-up" style innovation within a stable, global corporate structure.

The Mandate:

• Innovation: Lead research in membrane development, polymer modification, and fiber technologies to combat emerging water contaminants.
• Global Collaboration: Coordinate high-level R&D activities between Indian and International business units, including bi-annual global travel.
• IP & Strategy: Evaluate worldwide technologies, write patents, and bridge the gap between lab-scale proof-of-concept and commercial viability.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Membrane Science, or Polymer Science (with an emphasis on fiber/membrane design).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with proven track record in R&D and technology development. Candidates with a background in media/fiber technologies for contaminant removal will also be considered.
• Mindset: A "hands-on" leader who enjoys laboratory work and building a research program from the ground up.
