What you will do

As the POD Leader – Airside, you will technical lead and mentor the Airside pre-sales engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and success. Acting as the primary technical liaison team leader for APAC, you will address inquiries and provide expert advice to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the sales team and Product & Solutions team to develop tailored HVAC solutions that drive business growth and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. A key aspect of your role will be designing and implementing training programs to enhance the technical knowledge of team members, promoting continuous learning and a culture of excellence.

How you will do it

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage HVAC Airside pre-sales engineering teams of APAC region, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve technical capabilities

Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert team Airside POD Leader, providing insights into best practices.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure that the organization's solutions remain relevant and competitive

  • Oversee the development of technical documentation, proposals that align with customer requirements and industry standards.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and implement ongoing education programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in Airside Technologies.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.

Performance Metrics:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team to measure success and drive improvements.

  • Report on team performance and project outcomes to senior management.

  • Ensure Quality competitive deliverables/Solutions are provided to Sales Team on time.


What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

  • 12+ years of experience in HVAC systems with a strong focus Airside Products. Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred.

  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of HVAC Equipments like AHU, FCU, VAV boxes etc.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Airside equipment product selection process, preparing design specification and quotations

  • Sound knowledge of Airside equipment’s with the ability of solution innovation to create a clear differentiator through solutions

  • Leading a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
