Job Title: Java/PL SQL Developer

Position: G3L1

Experience: 5 to 8 years

In this role, you will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees.

You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.

As a Lead PL/SQL Developer, you will work closely with your team to lead and guide projects to success. Youll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. Youll also serve as a mentor to the junior developers. In the senior role, you will balance the assigning of user stories through prioritization and consideration of the technical interests of each developer on the team. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and database solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional and onshore teams to deliver scalable and efficient systems.

Ensure code quality by adhering to best practices and passing SonarQube quality gates.

Optimize database performance and implement security policies.

Required Skills:

Java:

Expertise in Core Java.

Strong development experience with Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, Rest Client libraries, Spring Data, and Microservices.

Proficiency in Kafka and Kafka Streams, including integration with Oracle databases for real-time data streaming.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.

Database:

Proficient in PL/SQL development, including designing and maintaining efficient database applications.

Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.

Knowledge of Oracle Goldengate(GG) and ETL concepts.

Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS) for data access control.

Strong skills in performance tuning for PL/SQL code and SQL queries.

DevOps:

Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD processes.

Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and a solid understanding of AWS services.

Tools & Others:

Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket.

Experience with modern IDEs (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse).

Advanced English communication skills.

You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.
