Job Description Database Lead

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead with strong expertise in SQL and database management.

1. Lead and manage a team of 10+ resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
2. Work with large datasets, writing efficient SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting.
3. Perform query optimization and performance tuning using Explain Plan, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and AWR reports.
4. Participate in requirement gathering, impact analysis, and technical design discussions with stakeholders.
5. Ensure adherence to RDBMS concepts, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling best practices.
6. Collaborate closely with business users, DBAs, developers, and testers to build scalable database solutions.
7. Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and strong technical documentation skills.
8. Familiarity with MIS reporting requirements and life insurance life cycle is essential.
9. Document technical designs, data flows, and process logic for long-term support and maintenance.
