PLM Solution Architect

Job purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced PLM Teamcenter Solution Architect to join our global Engineering Applications team and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions.

As part of the Group IT global Engineering Applications team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives to align PLM architecture with our business goals.

Main accountabilities and tasks (include KPIs and ESH requirements)

1. Take ownership of the architectural design and implementation of PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter. Guide and mentor junior team members in best practices and methodologies.

2. Provide expert-level guidance on Teamcenter configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems following industry best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the PLM and CAD domains.

3. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, internal and external developers, project managers and operations teams to deliver integrated and scalable PLM solutions.

4. Develop comprehensive technical documentation and conduct demonstrations and training sessions for internal teams to facilitate seamless adoption and utilization of Teamcenter solutions.

5. Lead architecture and implementation projects of Teamcenter PLM functionalities with extensive knowledge on configuration and customization solutions, across multiple domains of PLM. Document new business processes, data models and interfaces.

6. Assess the potential performance impacts of proposed solutions and recommend any necessary changes to the system architecture.

Desired experience and qualifications

Work experience: >12 years

Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): Minimum of 12 years experience in PLM solution architecture, with a focus on Siemens Teamcenter. Proven track record of providing PLM solutions for complex projects.

Expertise in Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, and integration. Shows deep understanding of Teamcenter PLM processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Proficiency in Teamcenter modules (Active Workspace, Data model, BMIDE, SOA APIs, server/client side customization, etc).

Education: Level: Bachelor Subject: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.

Certifications: Azure DevOps is a plus.

Languages: Fluency in English is required.

Soft skills: Excellent communication: strong verbal and written skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and effectively explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Collaboration: Ability to work in a team environment, facilitating communication and ensuring project goals are met collaboratively.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities by guiding technical teams and influencing stakeholders.
