Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with hands-on experience in industrial automation projects & Electrical Control Panel. The candidate should have strong knowledge in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, panel testing, and site commissioning. The role involves working closely with project, electrical, and commissioning teams to deliver automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Development

Develop PLC programs using ladder logic, function block, and structured text.

Perform program testing and debugging.

Modify existing PLC programs as per client requirements.

Prepare backup and version control documentation.

HMI / SCADA Development

Design and develop HMI screens.

Configure SCADA systems for monitoring and control.

Integrate PLC with HMI/SCADA.

System Integration

Configure communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.

Integrate VFDs, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments.

Ensure proper I/O mapping and signal testing.

Panel Testing & FAT

Perform internal testing before dispatch.

Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with clients.

Troubleshoot wiring and control issues.

Site Commissioning

Attend site installation and commissioning.

Support trial runs and performance testing.

Provide technical training to client operators if required.

Technical Skills Required

Hands-on experience in PLC brands such as:

o Siemens (S7 series)

o Allen Bradley

o Delta

o Schneider

Experience in HMI software (WinCC, FactoryTalk, etc.)

Knowledge of VFD configuration.

Understanding of electrical control panels.

Ability to read electrical drawings, P&ID, and wiring diagrams.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in:

o Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

o Instrumentation Engineering

o ECE

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial automation projects.

Exposure to water treatment, manufacturing, process industries.

Knowledge of safety interlocks and industrial standards.
