Platform Operation Engineer

Join the AMG Markets Team, a collaborative team of Software and DevOps Engineers focused on delivering and maintaining robust on-premises and SaaS-based trading solutions

As a Platform Operations Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for Daily Technical Operations including Application Management and Support for Nasdaq provided services. Key responsibility encompasses answering support calls and providing resolution to urgent production issues, with hands-on expertise in process automation, infrastructure management through code, and the establishment of continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This includes 24/7 Technical Operations and Application Support, managing Incidents for both internal and external customers, installing application updates and maintaining operational documentation and procedures. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Pune, India, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Role Responsibilities -

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience in System Operation, DevOps, Network, Application Operations, or other related areas
• Proven expertise in Linux/Unix!
• Extensive experience with Terraform
• Excellent knowledge and experience in AWS services and architecture
• Extensive working experience with EKS
• Extensive knowledge crafting and managing CI/CD pipelines, experience in Git/GitLab
• Proven knowledge of scripting and automation
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
• Minimum 5 years of meaningful experience!

• AWS certificates would be a plus
