Platform Engineering Engineer 3

Main Responsibilities 

• Work with Internal stake holders to understand the requirement and identify the solution.  

• Provide proposals and advice on both how to implement infrastructure components in the cloud and decrease RUN activities in our organization. Implement the proposal by developing the automation solution. 

• Analyze user needs and design, code, test, debug using scripts to support operational needs. 

• Work with end users, Technology Owners, and stakeholders in a collaborative way to achieve incremental delivery focused on value. 

• Develop solutions to automate all infrastructure related changes. 

• Work with stakeholders in a collaborative way to achieve incremental delivery of such improvements. 

• Implement end to end solutions with focus on business outcomes. 

• Provide guidelines and support Application & Platform SRE teams. In addition to it, provide high level SRE L3 Support on the Cloud platform 

Skills & Knowledge – Technical / Functional and Managerial 

• Good Terraform experience is mandatory. 

• Knowledge of writing Terratests for unit testing is preferred. 

• Knowledge of Terragrunt tool is a plus. 

• Good experience in using DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins (CI/CD), Docker, Containers, Ansible & Cloud technologies (Azure & GCP). 

• Knowledge of Python, GO is preferred. 

• Good experience in Azure Networking is mandatory & knowledge of GCP cloud is preferable. 

• Experience with handling the production environment and understanding of best operational practices. 

• Comfortable working using SAFe Agile methodology. 

• Ability to write detailed solution specifications. 

• Basic Network layer/component understanding, and Cloud structure would be a benefit. 

• ITIL Process awareness is a must and Certification is an advantage. 

Education and Years of Experience 

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of technical education or equivalent. 

• Relevant industry qualification 

• Should have strong problem solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills 

• Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment 

• Analytical and conceptual thinking 

• Willingness to learn and grow 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English to work in an international environment  

Relevant Job Experience:  

• 6 to 9 years of work experience in Programming / Automation 

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or cloud environments with a focus on automation  

• Microsoft AZ 900 certificate is a plus
