Platform Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with strong handson expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure Databricks to support and enhance our cloud data platform. The role involves building scalable CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, automating environments, and managing Databricks platform operations with a strong focus on reliability, governance, and performance.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Databricks and Azure cloud services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (preferred) or Bicep.
• Manage Databricks components including clusters, jobs, Repos, secret scopes, and workspace governance.
• Implement monitoring, RBAC, cost optimization, and platform security best practices.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, job failures, and compute-related problems across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline platform operations and standardize automation workflows.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong handson experience with Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines and Git-based workflow management.
• Deep expertise in Azure Databricksworkflows, Repos, clusters, security configurations, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or Bicep.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Good understanding of ADLS, Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and basic Azure networking concepts.
