Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide end to end leadership for a set of technology platforms in support of an entire business function such as Finance. Partnering with the business, this role will drive end-to-end delivery, deployment and support of all applications in this space as well as ensuring the set of platforms bring business value. The platform director will typically be the face of technology to a business function.

Key responsibilities: Owns the technology agenda and roadmap, working with the business to drive delivery and evolution of platforms (application, integration, data management and infrastructure) Supports the business leadership to manage the technology elements of key programmes Owns, develops and maintains the target systems architecture (enterprise, application, integration, data and infrastructure) for platforms in scope Works with the business function to provide solutions to markets and brands in line with business strategy Leads teams to deliver and support applications, infrastructure, Integration and data management solutions Responsible for the performance of all technology vendors and service providers in the space
