Responsible for development of Cost models for Rubber and plastic associated plastic components like Injection molding , Thermoforming , Extrusion and Blow molding.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Cost Model development of plastics commodities. Close interaction with the Target Costing, Commodity , Design and Product Management ( Plant GSS ) Team.
• Basic knowledge of Injection Molding Tool, Manufacturing/engineering processes, materials & systems. Communication skills are a must to deal with global partners.
• Familiar with Injection molding and packaging manufacturing processes and perform costing. Experience in injection molding shop floor and tooling are desired.

FUNCTIONAL

1. High level experience on Injection Molding manufacturing process, cycle time and tonnage calculations.
2. Familiarity with injection molding and tool construction
3. Basic knowledge about all other plastics processing methods and Tooling.
4. Knowledge about plastics raw materials and its properties and applications.
5. Basic knowledge on procurement processes.
6. Basic cost knowledge on injection molding parts.
7. Working on global assignments and exposure with outside India projects
8. Manufacturing process and costing methodology of Packaging parts like Carton , Labels and EPS parts
