Hiring: Vice President Head Operations (Aerospace)

About the Role:

We are looking for a results-driven Vice President Head Operations to execute operational strategies, drive performance, and achieve business goals in our Aerospace division. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for PPC, production, and stores, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operations strategies to improve OEE, yield, FTR, and reduce tool & labor costs
• Ensure operations achieve monthly sales revenue targets and customer on-time delivery >95%
• Improve inventory turn ratio and manage high-mix, low-volume machining processes
• Drive business system technology adoption (SAP, IIoT, Gauge Caliber, Tool Pulse, etc.)
• Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs to meet operational budgets
• Mentor and develop functional leaders within the team
• Lead operational strategy programs, making data-driven decisions
• Implement KRA data analytics for reporting and performance tracking

Key Metrics:

• Achieve monthly production value 40%
• Control rejection & rework <3%, reduce operational costs 40%
• Implement business systems for sustainability 10%
• Drive operational data analytics and periodic reporting 10%

Skills & Expertise:

• High-mix, low-volume machining operations and processes
• Discrete manufacturing, PPC, machine shop operations, inventory management
• Strong analytical thinking, structured system building, logical decision making
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external suppliers

Internal Interactions:

• Team Members (PPC, Engineering, Maintenance) for production, quality, and maintenance metrics
• Manufacturing Leads for OEE improvements and operational follow-ups

External Interactions:

• Machine and Tool suppliers for specifications, CTQ issues, and process improvements
