Job Title: Planning Coordinator Planning & Cost Control (Junior and Senior)

Location: Head Office (Chennai) Willingness to travel to project locations required

Experience Required: 5 15 Years

Salary Range: 5 20 Lakhs Per Annum

Job Summary

We are looking for a Planning Coordinator from the construction / infrastructure sector to support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Primavera and MS Project, and will assist the planning team in tracking project progress, preparing schedules, and supporting cost control activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in project monitoring and progress tracking across project sites.

Review and update project planning schedules as per project requirements.

Support preparation and analysis of S-Curve reports for project progress tracking.

Prepare crash schedules and catch-up schedules to support project recovery plans.

Develop micro schedules for specific project activities.

Prepare day-wise and weekly schedules for project execution teams.

Coordinate with execution teams to ensure adherence to project timelines.

Assist in tracking billing and cash flow movement for project cost monitoring.

Identify potential project delays and support the planning team in raising early alerts.

Contribute to problem solving and schedule improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Qualification: BE (Civil) with strong proficiency in Primavera and MS Project.

Experience: 5 8 years in project planning or project coordination roles.

Industry Background: Construction / Infrastructure sector Exposure to Marine or Building Projects preferred.

Role Fitment

The selected candidate will work as a Planning Coordinator, supporting the planning and cost control function and assisting senior planning professionals across multiple projects. Additional Information

Candidates will be based at the Head Office but should be open to travel to project locations whenever required.
