Planning Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with a strong background in commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of projects using Microsoft Project (MSP) and other planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using Microsoft Project (MSP) for interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, and site teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Monitor project progress vs planned schedule and highlight delays or risks.
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare mitigation plans.
• Track milestones, critical path activities, and resource allocation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Support the project team in planning procurement schedules and contractor timelines.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights.
• Ensure efficient project execution within deadlines and budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 510 years of experience in planning for commercial / corporate interior fit-out projects.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Project (MSP) for scheduling and tracking.
• Understanding of project lifecycle, construction sequencing, and fit-out processes.
• Experience with critical path method (CPM) and project scheduling techniques.
• Excellent coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with corporate office interiors, workplace fit-outs, or commercial spaces.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 (optional but advantageous).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
