Role Overview :

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with 610 years of experience to support large-scale construction of buildings and infrastructure projects. The role will focus on project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient execution.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Project (MSP) and /or exposure to project management platforms such as Zoho Projects or similar systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity sequencing.
• Track project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.
• Coordinate with Construction Project managers, Site teams, Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly /Qtrly progress reports and must be able to prepare the Dashboards with all crucial information of the projects.
• Identify delays and recommend corrective action plans.
• Track resource allocation and productivity.
• Assist in cost tracking and cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain project documentation and MIS reporting using tools such as MSP or Zoho Projects.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP)/Equivalent systems
• Experience with project tracking systems (Zoho Projects preferred).
• Understanding of construction workflows, methodologies and execution cycles.
• Ability to analyze delays , propose mitigation strategies and suggest EoT with an appropriate reasons.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Effective coordination and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and structured thinking.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Relevant certifications in project planning tools will be an advantage.

Experience

• 610 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, delays
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or campus development projects preferred.
• Exposure to multi-disciplinary project coordination..
