Placement Officer Engineering Campus

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate campus recruitment drives and facilitate the entire placement process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier companies across industries, particularly in engineering and technology domains.
• Organize employability training, mock interviews, and resume workshops.
• Maintain placement records, analyse placement trends, and generate reports for management.
• Ensure students meet industry expectations through timely pre-placement training sessions (Aptitude, Technical, Soft Skills).
• Communicate effectively with academic departments and deans to align placement strategy with student skill development.
• Handle logistics for placement events, including pre-placement talks (PPT), online/offline test facilitation, interview rooms, etc.
• Guide students in internship opportunities, project placements, and higher education/career counselling.

Requirements :

• Education : Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Management, or related field.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in placements, recruitment, HR, or academia (engineering institutions preferred).
• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and placement management tools.

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of current engineering job market trends.
• Relationships with IT/tech companies, core engineering firms, and start-ups.
• Exposure to ERP/ATS systems for placement tracking.
