Placement Manager (Operations)


DBS Global University is hiring for the position of Placement Manager (Operations) for Dehradun location, who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing campus placement activities to ensure maximum student employability and successful placements. The role involves building strong industry relationships, managing recruiters, preparing students for careers, and aligning placement strategies with institutional goals.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

Industry & Corporate Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate recruiters, industry partners, and placement agencies.
  • Identify new organizations for campus recruitment, internships, and live projects.
  • Coordinate MoUs and long-term partnerships with companies for placements and industry engagement.

Campus Placements & Internships

  • Plan and execute campus placement drives (on-campus, off-campus, virtual).
  • Manage end-to-end placement process including invitations, scheduling, pre-placement talks, interviews, and offers.
  • Ensure timely internship and final placement opportunities for students across programs.

Student Career Readiness

  • Organize career development activities such as resume building, mock interviews, aptitude tests, GDs, and soft skills training.
  • Guide students on career planning, job opportunities, and industry expectations.
  • Track student performance and placement readiness.

Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate with academic departments, faculty, and administration for placement planning.
  • Maintain accurate placement records, MIS reports, recruiter data, and student databases.
  • Prepare placement statistics and reports for accreditation and management review.

Events & Branding

  • Organize job fairs, industry visits, guest lectures, and employer engagement events.
  • Represent the institution at placement forums, corporate meets, and industry events.
  • Support institutional branding through employer outreach and success stories.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification:
  • MBA / PGDM (HR / Marketing / Operations / General Management) or equivalent
  • Graduation with relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 58 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, HR recruitment, or career services
  • Experience in higher education institutions preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and MIS reporting
