Placement Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industry & Employer Relations (Focus: Bengaluru, Hyderabad & Vijayvada Region)

• Develop and maintain partnerships with leading companies, startups, and industry bodies in Bangalore, Electronic City, Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and Peenya industrial area.
• Initiate new corporate tie-ups and strengthen relationships with existing recruiters.
• Coordinate with employers for campus drives, job fairs, and placement events.
• Stay updated with hiring trends in IT, EdTech, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Service sectors prevalent in Bengaluru.

2. Student Career Preparation

• Conduct employability training, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops tailored for current industry requirements.
• Facilitate technical and soft skill sessions through collaborations with local training partners or industry experts.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and career guidance to final-year students.
• Support students in securing internships, live projects, and final placements.

3. Placement Operations

• Plan and manage placement drives, coordinating logistics, communication, and student participation.
• Maintain placement records, recruiter feedback, and detailed placement statistics.
• Collaborate with the universitys central placement cell to align policies and reporting.
• Ensure timely communication between students, faculty, and employers during placement processes.

4. Networking & Branding

• Represent the university at industry forums, placement consortiums, and professional networking events in Bangalore.
• Engage alumni based in Bengaluru to create mentorship and referral opportunities.
• Organize guest lectures, HR conclaves, and career development events with local industry leaders.

5. Internship & Project Coordination

• Facilitate internship tie-ups with local companies and startups.
• Monitor internship progress and gather feedback from employers.
• Coordinate summer internship programs as per university guidelines.
