Job Description

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development
• Development of Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Packages
• Query Performance Tuning & Optimization
• Indexing & Database Design
• Troubleshooting Database Issues
• Basic Database Administration (Installation, Backup & Restore)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech / B.E / MCA (MANDATORY)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development
• Strong understanding of database schemas and system tables
• Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into database logic
• Exposure to at least one major database platform such as Oracle / MS SQL / DB2 / PostgreSQL / MySQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance tuning and indexing strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in database installation, database and table creation
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages
• Analyze application requirements and translate them into efficient database logic
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot application and database-related issues
• Handle basic database administration tasks (installation, backup, restore, table creation)
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and development teams
• Review requirements with users and provide accurate effort estimates
• Maintain clean, well-documented program code
• Prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery
• Actively contribute to team discussions and collaborative initiatives
