Position - Lead Engineer - Piping Stress

Location - Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Qualifications - B. E / B.Tech Mechanical

Experience - 8-10+ Years

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II as per ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8.
• Analyze sustained, thermal, operating, occasional (wind/seismic), and dynamic loads (water hammer, surge).
• Conduct stress analysis for piping connected to pumps, compressors, turbines, exchangers, vessels, and PSVs.
• Resolve high nozzle loads and secondary stresses; perform trunnion and jacketed piping analysis.
• Design and select pipe supports including spring hangers; provide pipe load data to civil/structural teams.
• Review piping isometrics, prepare critical line lists, and complete stress analysis documentation.
• Coordinate with layout, civil, vendors, and construction teams for routing and support resolution.

Technical Required Skills

• Proficient in CAESAR II, working knowledge of ROHR2, PRG Nozzle PRO, and FE-Bend.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31, API 610/617/662, and NEMA SM-23 standards.
• Experience in pipe support design, flange leakage checks, and expansion loop optimization.
• Good understanding of piping flexibility, equipment protection, and multidisciplinary coordination.
