Job Title : Piping Material Engineer
Position : Material Engineer
Role & Responsibility :
- Create and /or develop piping material specification, review client documents, specifications, requirements and its applicable international codes and standards
- Raise technical clarifications from licenser, PMC or client.
- Create valve material specification reports for bulk valves.
- Calculate, verify pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement pad requirements, and mechanical calculations as required by related codes and standards
- Create Special item data sheets and ensure its compliance with client's requirements and international standards.
- Create material requisitions for bulk items and special items.
- Review and verification of vendor documents.
Should be able to manage the activities within specified schedule.
Education : B.E. / B. Tech (-Mech.) from reputed University/ Institute
Experience : 07-12 Years experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery/ Petrochemical only in EPC environment
