Position: Piping Head- Mumbai Location

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the piping discipline in all phases like proposal, detailed design, construction etc.

Plan, assign, and manage piping engineering and design activities across multiple

projects.

Ensure all piping systems comply with relevant codes like ASME, API, ANSI, etc.,

standards, and client requirements.

Should have knowledge of:

o Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

o Pipe routing and layout models (2D/3D)

o Pipe stress analysis.

o Isometric drawings and material take-offs (MTOs)

o Line lists and valve data sheets

Supervise pipe material selection, specifications, and procurement support.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines like Mechanical, Civil, Process, Structural,

Project and Procurement etc.

Interface with clients, vendors, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.

Mentor and develop piping engineers and designers within the team.

Monitor discipline progress, productivity, and quality, and report to project manager

Ensure adherence to man-hrs, schedule, and quality.

Should have proficiency in piping design tools like AutoCAD, SmartPlant, PDMS,

Caesar II, E3D, Navisworks etc. and model reviews with client.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

BE/ME Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

15+ years of experience in piping engineering and design in EPC.
