Piping & Fire fighting Engineer - Estimation & Sales

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Piping & Fire Fighting Engineer specializing in Estimation & Sales. The role involves preparing cost estimates, designing piping, tanks and fire fighting systems, conducting project-based calculations, and providing technical support for sales proposals. Responsibilities also include interpreting project specifications, communicating with clients to understand their requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective solutions. The individual will play an essential role in the coordination of engineering and sales processes for various projects.

Qualifications

• Expertise in MOC, weight calculations of piping
• Proficiency in conducting Calculations
• Strong knowledge of fire fighting systems and equipment
• Experience in preparing detailed project cost estimations
• Ability to interpret mechanical designs and project specifications
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Proficiency in CAD software and related tools
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
• Prior experience in fire fighting systems or piping projects is highly advantageous
