Physiotherapist – Home Visits

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing structured rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions to patients at their residence. The role includes assessment, treatment planning, execution of therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and coordination with referring doctors where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessment of patients functional status, mobility, strength, balance, and range of motion
• Review medical history, surgical history, and physician recommendations
• Identify functional limitations and rehabilitation goals
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans
• Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training
• Provide post-operative rehabilitation (orthopedic, neurological, geriatric cases)
• Guide patients in pain management techniques
• Monitor patient progress through measurable outcomes
• Modify therapy plan based on response to treatment
• Communicate patient progress with referring doctor when required
• Escalate any clinical deterioration or complications

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) / Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)
• Valid registration with relevant Physiotherapy Council (if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience
