Role Purpose

The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing specialized physiotherapy care to patients in the Department of Neurosciences , focusing on rehabilitation, functional recovery, and improvement of quality of life. The role requires clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for neurological and/or cardiac patients.
• Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation interventions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical outcomes, and modify treatment plans as required.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises, posture, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with hospital protocols and accreditation standards.
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and ethical clinical practices.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification:
• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) with Neuro or Cardio Specialty
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Department of Neurosciences (hospital/clinical setup preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong clinical knowledge in neurological rehabilitation
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation protocols
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and ethical practice
