PHP Laravel Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Core PHP and Laravel.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Write unit and feature tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional PHP development experience (Core PHP + Laravel).
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and time/space complexity analysis, with the ability to build performance-efficient backend systems.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Experience working with caching systems (e.g., Redis) and background jobs/queues.
• Understanding of scalability, concurrency, and backend performance optimization.
• Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PHPUnit and automated testing practices.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with queues and background job processing.
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Frontend experience (Vue.js or React.js).
