Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced PHP Developer with 3+ years experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and related backend technologies. You will work closely with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust backend and frontend solutions that power our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design,develop, test, and maintain backend applications using PHP and related frameworks.

Build and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend processes for scalability.

Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and ensure data integrity and performance.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in development and production environments.

Stay updated with the latest PHP versions, frameworks, and backend development best practices.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in PHP (Core PHP and/or frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).

Solid understanding of MVC architecture and backend design patterns.

Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Familiarity with server environments (Linux), web servers (Apache/Nginx), and deployment processes.

Good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration.

Knowledge of security best practices (SQL injection prevention, XSS, CSRF, etc.).\

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
