PHP Architect

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable software architectures for PHP applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define and document technical specifications, guidelines, and best practices.

1. Technology Stack:

• Stay current with PHP development best practices, tools, and trends.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate frameworks, libraries, and technologies to enhance application development.

1. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, QA engineers, and business analysts.

1. Code Review:

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and proper implementation of architectural designs.
• Identify and address technical debt and code smells.

1. Performance Optimization:

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application.
• Optimize code and database queries for improved efficiency.

1. Security:

• Implement and enforce security best practices in the development process.
• Conduct security assessments and address vulnerabilities.

1. Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, code, and processes.
• Ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks.
• Previous experience in a role involving architectural design and leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with database design and optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other web technologies (React Js, Vue Js, Node Js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Knowledge of cloud services and architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Zend Certified PHP Engineer).
