Job Description: Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)

Location: Surat / Hazira

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) as per ISPS Code.
• Manage daytoday security operations such as access control, CCTV, surveillance, and patrolling.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with maritime security regulations.
• Lead security training, drills, and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Coordinate with port authorities, government agencies, and emergency services.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ISPS Code and maritime security regulations.
• Good leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
• Proficient in CCTV and access control systems.
• Calm and effective under pressure.

Eligibility

• Management Level Certificate of Competency (Foreign Going)
• OR
• Exserviceman with rank of Commander (Indian Navy) or equivalent in Indian Coast Guard.
