Role: IBM iSeries (AS/400) Developer

Location: Remote (Pan India)

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain RPG/RPGLE programs and CL jobs on IBM iSeries (AS/400) for transactional and batch systems.

Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement stable fixes to minimize downtime.

Optimize SQL400 and DB2 for i queries, file layouts, and program logic to improve throughput and reduce processing windows.

Implement interfaces and integrations (service programs, stored procedures, APIs) for downstream systems and middleware.

Participate in code reviews, release activities, and change-control processes; produce clear technical documentation.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and operations; mentor junior developers to raise team capability.
