Perl Developer

Role : Perl C developer

Location : Chennai ( 5 Days WFO NO Hybrid No remote )

Job Opportunity : Full Time

8 years of handson development experience with strong background in:

• Perl scripting (advanced level) largescale batch processing, file handling, parsing, automation
• Unix/Linux/Solaris systems strong commandline skills, performance debugging
• Shell scripting automation of operational workflows, deployment utilities
• Oracle database SQL, query optimization, performance tuning
• Good understanding of C and Pro*C

Strong understanding of backend systems and application pipelines, including:

• Highvolume batch processing
• Integration with settlement, reconciliation

Software Engineering & Development Process:

• Handson experience across the full SDLC using Agile methodologies
• Ability to interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and convert them into maintainable, scalable code
• Strong debugging skills log analysis, file tracing, SQL trace analysis
• Experience implementing unit tests, automated validations, and code quality improvements
• Ability to perform production installation support, deployment activities, and rootcause analysis for issues
