Perfumer

CKC Fragrances, based in Kolkata, has been a leader in crafting fragrance compounds and synthetic essential oils for over four decades. Our team, led by Chandrakant Kothari and Rishabh C. Kothari, combines the art of perfumery with strict quality standards and expertise in procurement. This is a full-time remote role for a Perfumer. The Perfumer will be responsible for developing and refining fragrance formulations, conducting research and development, liaising with clients to craft customized fragrances, ensuring quality control of finished products, and supporting sales teams with creative scent solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying updated with emerging fragrance trends to meet market needs effectively.

• Strong Research and Development (R&D) skills, with a focus on fragrance formulation and product innovation
• Experience in Quality Control to ensure the consistency and efficacy of fragrance blends
• Proficiency in Customer Service, including client collaboration and understanding specific requirements for tailored solutions
• Knowledge of Sales processes and collaboration to support fragrance presentations and promotions
• Understanding of the personal care industry, including fragrance applications
• Detail-oriented with strong olfactory capabilities and an ability to evaluate fragrances
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Perfumery, Applied Sciences, or a related field is preferred
