Performance Software Engineer

As a Performance Assurance Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance for our software products. Your in-depth expertise will help shape the performance assurance processes and frameworks, ensuring that our solutions are reliable and meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with development and product teams, identifying issues and implementing best practices to drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•         Execute detailed performance testing for complex software products

•         Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans

•         Identify, report, and track performance related defects to resolution

•         Collaborate with development and product teams to improve quality practices

•         Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the performance team

•         Develop and enhance automated testing for Continuous Integration, Deployment and Validation (CI/CD/CV)

Required Skills & Experience

•         6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background or related experience in software development or performance testing

•         Experience in software performance assurance

•         Experience with automation testing tools (Postman, Playwright, Selenium)

•         Experience with automated performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, K6)

•         Experience with network and proxy-based tools for intercepting network communication (Fiddler, Wireshark)

•         Experience with database testing (Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2)

•         Experience in compliance testing

•         Experience in Agile methodologies

Nice to Have

•         Knowledge of continuous integration, deployment, and validation (CI/CD/CV) tools

•         Familiarity with testing in cloud environments

•         Understanding software development lifecycles.

•         Certification in software testing methodologies.
