Job Title: Performance Tester (JMeter Specialist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Tester with 35 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, particularly using Apache JMeter . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications under load.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using JMeter .
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across various applications and environments.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks, system limitations, and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Monitor system performance using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or similar APM solutions.
• Prepare detailed test reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning activities.
• Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience in performance testing, with strong expertise in Apache JMeter .
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and KPIs.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, Shell).
• Exposure to other performance testing tools like LoadRunner, Gatling, or BlazeMeter.
