Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using JMeter .
- Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across cloud and distributed systems.
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance degradation, and optimization opportunities .
- Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and work closely with development teams to implement fixes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, share findings, and drive performance improvements.
- Monitor application performance in production and pre-production environments to proactively identify risks.
- Participate in capacity planning to ensure systems can handle current and future workloads.
- Use APM and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog , or similar platforms for performance analysis and visualization.
- Generate detailed performance reports with clear findings, trends, and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for test plans, scripts, execution results, and improvement suggestions.
- Continuously improve performance testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies .
- Lead and mentor performance QA team members, providing technical guidance when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 812 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
- Strong expertise in Apache JMeter , including scripting using Java, Groovy, or BeanShell .
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Datadog , or other APM tools.
- Solid understanding of web applications, REST APIs , and their performance characteristics.
- Experience with client-side performance testing using tools such as Lighthouse, mPulse , or similar.
- Experience with component-level performance testing .
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment .
- Proven experience leading performance testing teams .
- Strong experience communicating directly with clients and cross-functional stakeholders , both technical and non-technical.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
