About the Team:

We're looking for a Performance Test Engineer II with skills in coding, quality, and testing to join our performance engineering team. As part of the test infrastructure team, you will help develop frameworks, tools, and tests to cover the full depth and breadth of Postman'sNFRand scale. Your primary objective on the team would be to develop and drive effective, scalable automated performance tests and related infrastructure to ensure the performance and capabilities of the Postman platform.

What Youll Do

Create and execute Performance test scripts for APIs, UIs and Native (Desktop) Applications

Work closely with the partner teams in driving the fixes for the performance issues; also, fix the issues of generic nature yourself whenever required

Must have knowledge and experience with application performance testing, including performance test tool utilisation, scripting, building and executing scenarios, collecting and analysing performance metrics and creating reports.

Create required test data and data loads for each performance test run

Be a performance expert in the Test Infrastructure team who understands how the features should work in various loads and scale situations and the impact on the rest of the system.

About you

3 - 5 years of working experience building performance testing frameworks and implementing performance/load and other non-functional tests

Expert knowledge of scripting technologies such as JavaScript and Node.JS.

Proficient working knowledge of Frontend, Backend, cloud infrastructure, and databases.

Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures (server response time, memory and CPU utilisation, throughput, latency, etc.)
