Performance Marketing Lead
Reports to: Founder
Experience: 47 years in performance marketing
Manages: Small existing team + future hires
Primary channels: Meta and Google mandatory
Compensation: 1220 LPA based on experience and fit
What this role is
Mediachondria Digital is a BFSI-focused performance marketing and strategy consultancy. Our clients are financial brands lenders, fintechs, investment platforms who need marketing that works in a regulated, trust-sensitive category. We've grown to a point where we need a senior practitioner who can own the quality of our work, develop the team producing it, and grow with the agency as it scales.
What you'll do
- Own strategy and performance across active client accounts diagnose problems, set direction, review output
- Develop the people on the team real feedback, real investment, visible improvement over time
- Keep clients genuinely confident in the work, in the thinking, in the relationship
- Bring your own market presence LinkedIn, case studies, industry conversations
What we need
Must have
- 47 years in performance marketing with genuine Meta and Google depth
- Strategic thinking you understand the business problem behind the brief, not just the campaign brief itself
- Honesty with data and with clients you flag problems early and don't hide behind complexity
- A standard of excellence that's visible in your own work before you ask it of others
- A genuine orientation toward developing the people around you
- Emotional intelligence under pressure directness and care, not avoidance
Good to have
- Experience in briefing and evaluating creative for performance
- BFSI or B2B marketing background regulated industries, complex trust dynamics
- Exposure to new business or commercial conversations
- Prior experience building processes, playbooks, or quality standards that a team actually used
- Prior hiring or team-structuring experience
- Tech/coding background experience

- Someone who needs a fully built system before they can perform
- Someone whose definition of leadership is reviewing reports and forwarding feedback
- Someone who treats client confidence as the account manager's job
- Someone who is excellent individually but indifferent to the people around them

Stage 4: We speak with someone you've worked with closely preferably someone you've managed or developed.
