Job Description

Role Overview

Forest Essentials is seeking a result-driven Assistant Manager Performance Marketing (Marketplace) to lead and scale paid advertising across key e-commerce channel partners including Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy and Myntra.

This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing ROAS, and strengthening brand visibility across marketplaces through strategic campaign planning, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with deep marketplace platform expertise and an understanding of luxury brand positioning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, and Myntra.
  • Execute Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, PLA, PCA, and other marketplace ad formats.
  • Own end-to-end campaign lifecycle setup, optimization, budget allocation, and reporting.
  • Align campaigns with product priorities, inventory planning, and brand objectives.

2. Performance Optimization & Revenue Growth

  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including CTR, CVR, CPC, ACOS, TACOS, and ROAS.
  • Conduct A/B testing across creatives, keywords, audience targeting, placements, and bidding strategies.
  • Scale high-performing campaigns and reallocate budgets based on performance insights.
  • Drive profitability while maintaining premium brand positioning.

3. Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Develop weekly and monthly performance dashboards using marketplace analytics and internal tools.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify growth opportunities, category trends, and optimization gaps.
  • Present actionable insights to internal stakeholders including category, merchandising, and leadership teams.
  • Track performance during sale periods, festive campaigns, and new product launches.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with content, creative, and category teams to ensure ad creatives and listings are optimized for conversions.
  • Partner with sales and account management teams for joint business planning and marketplace alignment.
  • Support visibility strategies during key events such as Prime Days, festive sales, and platform-led promotions.

5. Marketplace & Industry Expertise

  • Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, new ad formats, automation features, and beta programs across Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, and Myntra.
  • Identify and implement tools or automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Benchmark against competitors and recommend strategic improvements.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 35 years of experience in marketplace performance marketing or e-commerce advertising.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Ads and other marketplace advertising platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
  • Experience working with premium or beauty/luxury brands preferred.
  • Ability to balance brand storytelling with performance-driven growth.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
